If you're looking for open-air sports and you want to keep fit, then you're sure to fall in love with Bibione, thanks to all of the activities it has to offer. Bibione is known for its lush nature, just waiting to be discovered by those who enjoy walking, going out on their bikes or horse-riding: Valgrande, the pine forest, the banks of the Tagliamento river, the lighthouse. Free keep-fit, dance and pilates sessions are offered on the beach and water-lovers can enjoy a range of activities directly in the sea: windsurfing, swimming and scuba diving. Throughout the entire year, the seafront becomes a paradise for joggers at sunset. Bibione, with its untouched and captivating natural beauty, offers a range of bicycle routes (described in detail in guidebooks and information leaflets), which is an ideal alternative to a day on the beach. There is a wonderful cycle path that runs alongside the entire seafront, weaving in between oleanders, palm trees and flowerbeds, bringing you out in the centre of town. Going further out of the resort, it is also possible to go on excursions taking you to the lighthouse and exploring the nearby countryside specialised in the production of wine, fruit and vegetables, including the famous white asparagus. You can also go on longer tours, following the path of the Tagliamento river or even reaching the areas of Brussa and Vallevecchia.
